EVRA REVEALS MOST ANNOYING OPPONENT

Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has disclosed that veteran Liverpool midfielder James Milner is the most annoying opponent he faced during his football career. Patrice Evra made this known in a Question and Answer session with the official website of Manchester United. According toEvra, people always expect him to say another name other than Milner.

Patrice Evrastated that he’s an attacking defender and ex-England international Milner always defend more than him whenever they play against each other. The Frenchman went on to say that Milner frustrated him as he was always following him everywhere. Milner would follow him even if he went to the toilet as revealed by former French national team left-back Patrice Evra.

Evra and Milner faced each other several times during the Manchester Derby. 35-year-old Milner faced Evra many times in the highly-charged derby atmosphere during his five-year spell at Manchester City. Milner left Manchester City at the end of his contract to sign for Liverpool on a free transfer. He has won both the Premier League and Champions League titles during his time on Merseyside. Milner was restricted to winning the Premier League and FA Cup titles.

Ex-Manchester United left-back Evra spent several years at Old Trafford on the back of his move from AS Monaco in the French league.Evra signed for the Red Devils from Monaco during the 2006 January transfer window and he struggled in the opening weeks of his Manchester United career. The Frenchman would go on to become the undisputed left-back once he adapted to Premier League football.
