Manchester United needs new players

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra believes that Jose Mourinho might need to make new signings if they want to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the title. He said that the current team is not good enough to win the title and that there needs to be some addition before the closing of the transfer window.

Patrice Evra said that the team was far behind Manchester City last season and that he is afraid that they will fall behind even more this season. He said that Pep Guardiola has brought in some experienced players and that they will be difficult to stop this season. Patrice Evra, Anfield Don’t Forgive Easily

Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra recently returned to the English top flight. West Ham manager David Moyes decided to offer the experienced and versatile player a lifeline following the recent developments in the player’s career. Evra was banned by UEFA from continental tournaments and then Marseille sacked him. However, since he could still play in the league Moyes brought him on to help them in the second half of the season.

Evra was happy to return to regular action but there were a few unsettled scores. West Ham had to clash with Liverpool in the league. The Reds were in the form of their life with a brilliant attacking trip of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah. PATRICE EVRA TO RETURN TO ACTION?

There are reports that Patrice Evra has received an offer to return to action from Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray. The Frenchman had his deal with Marseille terminated last November following a public outcry after the player kicked one of his own supporters before the start of a Europa League game.

The former Manchester United player was a substitute in the game against Vitoria. He appeared to kick the player so he was sent off before the kickoff. He was suspended by his club and then UEFA banned him from competitions until 2018. It was the perfect excuse for the club to terminate the deal as fans raised hell about his actions.

EVRA SUSPENDED BY CLUB AND CHARGED BY UEFA

French soccer star Patrice Evra has been suspended by his football club Olympique Marseille for his karate kick aimed at the head of one of his club’s supporters. The continental ruling body UEFA has handed an initial one-game ban while they review the case.

The veteran defender was involved in a squabble with club fans before their Europa League match against Vitoria Scat the Henriques Stadium in Guimaraes, Portugal. The former Manchester United player was sent off for his actions at the pre-game warm up.

Unai Emery Pleased with Cavani’s Brace against St Etienne

Paris St Germain manager Unai Emery praised the performance of striker Edinson Cavani in the recent match against St Etienne.


The Uruguayan striker was expected to be sidelined upon the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar this transfer window. The former has joined PSG on a loan deal which will be converted into a permanent move for £ 166 million next year, while Neymar has joined the club in a £ 196 million deal from Barcelona. Neymar has already had a major impact in the performances of PSG, but it wasCavani who stole the limelight in the game against St Etienne.

There was nervousness before the match, as St Etienne were coming into the game on the back of an excellent start to the season which has seen them win the opening three matches. As a result, PSG were fearing a repeat of last season’s situation when Monaco came out of the blue to win the league title with a younger and inspiring squad. However, there was no slack from PSG as they managed to get a 3-0 win. Cavani came up with the opening goal from the spot, while Thiago Motta doubled the advantage. Patrice Evra unveiled his desire of returning to Manchester United

After spending 9 seasons as a player of Manchester United in a time-lapse that initiated on January of 2006 and reached it´s end on July of 2014 which is when he completed his transfer to the Italian outfit Juventus.


During those 8 years performing in Old Trafford, Patrice Evra helped Manchester United in securing the Premier League on 5 occasions and the UEFA Champions League as well as many other pieces of silverware.

On 2014, The French defender made his way to Juventus as he joined for a price tag of £1.5 million and continued to add more trophies to his collection but after 3 seasons, Evra continued extending his playing career as he joined another club, this time, it was Marseille.

However, according to the veteran player, Evra stated that he was on the verge or at least thinking about making a return to Old Trafford and one of the reasons of why he was so tempted on coming back to the English Premier League club was due to Jose Mourinho.

“I need coaches like Ferguson, coaches with an iron fist, because I work like that. Jose knows it. We sometimes send each other texts. I won’t hide it; I almost went back to Manchester.
